For others, like myself, withstanding the trials of time and navigating time through the shifts of moving at a moment by moment wrung to the core time, My ‘duties’ have changed from an on the ground people chase to a deadline paper chase. This has been the essence of my life since birth into the flesh bound realm.
I was born with a thirst for learning of an academic and the impatience of a two-year-old. Learning to read and calculate at the age of two, mastering concepts by four, yet dragging a bottle along until five started a mixture of old and new early in life. Now at the cusp of ‘old age’ maturity I still find myself not yet with the knowledge, I may never be complete in all, I wanted to learn this time around.
Reading, editing, enjoying because books and learning was imprinted on my DNA still is in a time crunch, but I am in a free float type of time. I have boots on the ground chores and ‘my work’ remaining a labor of immense pleasure and love which surprising gets completed on time, just.
I was editing “A Day Named Tuesday” by Mark Bell for inclusion in his book, Seeds – Of Wheat and Weeds and realized my life had slipped into the zone of freedom.
While this may be disconcerting to some, hellish to others, and considered on the outskirts of lunacy to others, my life revolves around what I am doing at the given time – I’m hungry, I eat; I’m tired I sleep; no clocks in sight. If I do not sleep enough for a time, I must be awake in the morning, the bed is within reach and without hesitation is welcome.
Surrounded by technology, yet in a nature frame of mind. My electric candles take me through the day into night only mastered by needs of the moment. I text and talk to those in this lifetime I never would have had access in past because their days are my nights.
A world in turmoil, yet an oasis of tranquility for me is obtained with my complete reliance of God and his angels directing or allowing needs to be accomplished. My needs and wants to co-exist as a team in sync to the rhythm of a dance familiar to my spirit. A joy indescribable.
