I started this blog, a lifetime ago or so it seems. I've been locked out from the site for several weeks. I am blaming the web for folding in on itself, making it difficult to navigate.
I sometimes feel like Keanu Reeves out on the ledge, ready to slide into another reality. I have six sites and the only one accessible has been my www.paulandpaulasplace.blogspot.com/
Wordpress, Weebly, and Webs have slammed tighter than a clam working on that irritant, soon to be a pearl. Now if they all are working on upgrades, great, but let us know. Standing, knocking, and knocking, and knocking while I could be off cleaning up dog puke, by the way, is the only thing keeping me right on knocking.
I had several other blogs written, but were in such a downer form, I figure it was good the door was shut. Between the wonky web, the psycho PC, and the hectic home life, I've ended up a wrung out mutt.

Several weeks ago I came upon a blog, the way I do with most of them..I stride through a dedicated link and leave by the back door, a link that is posted somewhere on the sidebar. If these excursions were not interesting or decent, I probably would be berating myself on the inefficiency of this stumble approach.
The Why Can't I Get...?? refers to reviews and the link I attach at the end of this article is short, simplistic, and in an entertaining format. I go as far to say, you may want to sign up for their blog.
His/her approach is from a pure reader of said author's book while the perspective I give is from a writer, totally into an unorganized phase of life, too little sleep, and too much to do. Don't get me wrong...I read. I read a lot, but most of the time once I finish a story, there is another to read also with a deadline looming. So I put off the review and if I do not run into the person for awhile, it takes that long for me to say, "OH...Don't I owe you a review?"
There are some books I read, I must read slowly to understand the nuances. And some have so much pain involved in the telling that I want to reach out and touch, sometimes with a punch, and I've not done that since I was a child fending off bullies that picked on my younger sibling. I have books that refuse to share read time with another book because their allure is too great and I know the outcome is going to work out. How it is ending, not so much, but know I will enjoy it. So that is why some of you are still waiting for my reviews, some for finishing.
This blogster has an approach I did not think of except with author friends. I've signed up for future blogs and have on my todo list, which is as long as my read and review piles, past articles to read.
