Hi, and welcome to my Booktrap page.
I've written six books about a British private investigator, set in the north of England and written in a hard-boiled style that's intended to capture the tone and attitude of the great American P.I. writers, from Chandler to Ross Macdonald to Robert Crais. The six is published on May 1st, 2015, and is available - as are all the books - through Amazon for Kindle, at Barnes and Noble for the Nook, for Kobo and at Smashwords.com. It's also available in paperback format from Amazon. The first in the series, Altered Life, is also available as an audiobook through Amazon, Audible and iTunes. The other books in the series will follow.
I've also written a novel about a young actress who is discovering exactly what it is she wants to do - and be - in the world.
None of these books is expensive. They all contain a good deal of humour, because that's what I like in the books I read. If you click on a cover below you'll be taken to the Amazon US site for the book. If you want it for a different platform, then Google is your friend.
In addition, I write an occasional blog about crime writing and how crime writers produce the effects that they do. The blog is called Crime Writing Confidential, and focuses mainly on contemporary American writers of crime and thrillers. Please drop by. And thanks for reading this extended advertisement.
